If you have a question about working at Guide Dogs or our recruitment process, you can find out more here.

As we follow safer recruitment practices, we cannot accept speculative CVs. To apply for a role with us you'll need to register on our job board. As part of this registration you will be asked to upload your CV as this will help populate your application form. If there is not a specific role that interests you at this time, you can also set up job alerts to be notified when roles that match your criteria are posted.
Our job board is updated regularly — as and when vacancies arise. This happens weekly on average.
Visit our job board and select the vacancy you wish to apply for. This will bring up the advert and job details. You will need to register on our website before you can complete an online application. Take a look at our tips for applying before submitting your application.
We encourage you to apply for any role you feel your skills match the requirements for, and is of interest to you. If you get shortlisted, please let the Hiring Manager know you've applied for another role with us as each vacancy is managed separately by the relevant manager.
We're proud to be recognised as a Disability Confident Employer and we’re committed to providing an inclusive and accessible recruitment process.
We’ll offer an interview to disabled candidates who indicate they wish their application to be considered under our Disability Confident interview commitment, where they demonstrate within their application form that they meet our selection criteria - which is the person specification within our job descriptions.
Some of our roles attract a high volume of applications and in some circumstances, where it's not practicable, we may need to limit the number of interviews offered to disabled and non-disabled candidates. Details of the Disability Confident Scheme can be found on the Government website.

We think it's important for all candidates to feel comfortable when applying or interviewing for roles with us. To enable this, we can make adjustments for any stage of our recruitment process to support you.
The types of adjustments and support we can provide will depend on your individual needs. We encourage you to reach out to our friendly Talent Acquisition Team who will be happy to discuss your requirements further.
If successful, we can then also discuss any workplace adjustments needed to help you in your new role. We also have an Access to Work Coordinator who is on hand to help with workplace adjustments.
We do recruit Trainees in various roles around Guide Dogs. The exact roles vary depending on what the business needs but they are usually in our Operations Directorate. Our most common Trainee positions are for our Habilitation Specialist and Vision Rehabilitation Specialist roles. If we don’t have any Trainee roles advertised at the moment on our job board, sign up to our job alerts so you can be notified when we next do.
We do also have our Academy which is where we train our Guide Dog Trainers and Guide Dog Mobility Specialist roles. To find out more, visit our Academy careers page.
If you don’t have a qualification as recognised under the International Guide Dog Federation, you will need to apply for our learning programme through our Academy, which includes on-the-job training.
If you’d like more information in the meantime, visit our Academy careers page.
We would love to hear from you if you're able to give some of your time to help Guide Dogs, whether it's driving, looking after our dogs, or helping a fundraising group. Visit our volunteering section for more information.
